Sally J. Duncan, M.S., M.S.E.E., is a consultant and seminar leader for PQ Systems, Inc., Dayton, OH. A mathematics teacher for sixteen years, she has taught at secondary and university levels in Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. She brings her broad range of educational management experience to seminar training for educators throughout the country.
Sally’s seminars offer customized training in total quality for educators throughout the country, by introducing a step-by-step improvement cycle that will assure success of their classroom and administrative projects. Sally played a key role in the design and delivery of the Koalaty Kid Training Initiative, a school training partnership sponsored by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) since 1993.
In addition, Sally has co-authored with Barbara A. Cleary, Ph.D. two books that use the quality tools to advance learning. Both Tools and Techniques to Inspire Classroom Learning and Thinking Tools for Kids: An Activity Book for Classroom Learning are published by ASQ Quality Press, Milwaukee. Teachers and administrators in school districts throughout the U.S. and abroad have commented on the usefulness of these books in bringing quality to the classroom.
She has been a speaker at a variety of national educational conferences, including the American Association of School Administrators, the National Conference on Quality in Education, and the National Staff Development Conference.
Sally holds advanced degrees in mathematics, electrical engineering, and statistics. Her consulting experience includes a diverse group of educational, manufacturing, and service organizations.
