Thinking Tools for Kids
$35.00
Written by Barbara A. Cleary, Ph.D. and Sally J. Duncan
Perhaps the first book of its kind written especially for young people, Thinking Tools for Kids describes everyday challenges grade school kids encounter which can be solved by a variety of quality tools. Each chapter starts out with a story that presents a problem that may be experienced by students, the authors then explain which tools can be used to overcome these problems, and give examples of how to apply these tools to other problems as well.
The many illustrations aid in the students’ understanding of the tools they are using, while the helpful glossary aids the parents and teachers. At the end of each chapter is a “home connection” which encourages kids to take what they have learned and apply it to problems at home.
