GAGEpack Enterprise expands your gage management options across your network or across multiple plants. If you need access to gage calibration and/or measurement systems analysis on more than two workstation computers, then GAGEpack Enterprise is the preferred choice.

Concurrent-user license

GAGEpack Enterprise is a concurrent-user license. Concurrent-user licenses, also called floating licenses or flexible-use licenses, allow customers to install GAGEpack on terminal servers, Citrix servers, or an unlimited number of computers. A license server meters usage of GAGEpack, enabling no more than the licensed number of users to simultaneously run the software. The concurrent-user license model offers the following advantages to GAGEpack Enterprise customers:

• You install GAGEpack on a terminal server or a Citrix server only once, rather than having to install it on many computers throughout your organization.
• The administration of license management is simple, since there is only one license number to purchase and renew.
• A concurrent-user license is economical, since it allows sharing of floating licenses among multiple users. This provides you with enterprise-wide software access at a reasonable cost.

SQL Server integration

GAGEpack Enterprise stores data in a SQL Server database so that:

• If the connection to the database is lost (power loss, network issue, etc.) while GAGEpack Enterprise is writing information to the database, the database is not damaged;
• Performance is not affected when many users have the same database open in GAGEpack Enterprise;
• You can reliably perform a backup of a GAGEpack Enterprise database while users have the database open;
• You can run GAGEpack Enterprise from computers that are connected to the database over a wide area network (WAN).

GAGEpack Enterprise can use your existing SQL Server infrastructure, or you can install the free SQL Server Express edition on Windows XP or higher (i.e. it is not mandatory to have a server-class computer).
