Quality Workbench Professional's Document Control software module ensures that your organization's documents are correctly reviewed, approved, and issued, and that changes are controlled. Quality Workbench Professional works with word processing, spreadsheet, CAD, flow charting, project planning, and other programs, allowing you to create, edit, and view documents in a familiar environment. Secures documents to control access

Quality Workbench Professional internalizes documents, storing them inside a relational database, so that documents are not left in a computer’s file system where they might be damaged, deleted, or copied. Storage within the database means that access to the document is strictly controlled. Users are able to access only those documents for which they are authorized.

Ensures users have current documents

Create new documents within Quality Workbench Professional document control software, or import documents created in other programs. Once a document is issued, revisions are generated through change request procedures. After revisions are approved, users are notified of changes and the previous version of the document is archived. Throughout the process, the users are notified of relevant document activity via a built-in messaging system or your organization's e-mail systems.
