Problem:
X-axis labels, causes, notes, and vertical grid lines do not appear on the chart.
Solution:
If a variables or attributes control chart contains more than 200 subgroups, the following elements will not be displayed, even if the chart definition asks for them:
- Identifiers, data, and stats in the grid above the chart; the grid won't display either.
- X-axis labels (none will be shown)
- Causes
- Notes
- Vertical grid lines
With a large number of data points, the chart takes longer to draw or print and these items become illegible. To display these items on a chart, set the Chart width in subgroups (on the Control limit tab) to less than 200 subgroups. You can scroll to display additional data. | |
