Problem:
While installing various PQ Systems software such as CHARTrunner or SQCpack the installation will stop and display an error similar to
“Error reading from file: C:\....\PqLicenseMrg.exe”
Solution:
This error often appears because an anti-virus program such as “AVG” or “Sophos” is blocking “PqLicenseMgr.exe” from running. To fix this and finish the installation simply add the “PqLicenseMgr.exe” to the list of exceptions or to the list of allowable programs in your anti-virus software.
