You can create out-of-control tests that apply to
only one chart, such as X-bar chart instead of the range chart. To do
this, create a test that is similar to that shown in the example below:
7 above centerline [XBAR]
This is particularly useful when charting based on specifications or specs.
Note that for an individual chart, you will still use the XBAR terminology.
