SP: Control over the number of decimal places on the X-axis of a histogram

Revision Date: 2005-09-07

Problem:

Data is carried out to 7 decimal places. The user would like more control over the number of decimal places on the X-axis of the histogram.

Solution:

Edit the histogram and select "Histogram Cells" = Custom and enter a value.  SQCpack will use the value entered in this field to determine how many decimal places appear on the X-axis.

To affect the number of digits in the cell labels, customize the parameters. If you enter custom parameters for the cells, the program will use the maximum number of digits in the 'cell start' and 'cell width' parameters to determine the number of digits in the labels.
