To save your GAGEpack data in an Excel spreadsheet, you will want to follow these steps:
- Open your GAGEpack 2000 database in Microsoft Access 97.
- In Access, select Queries.
- Select New, Design View, Gages - Add, and then Close.
- From the drop down Choice List - Field, choose "GageNumber" (You may also want to sort by this field.)
- From the next drop down Choice List - Field, choose "Current Location" (Assuming you want the current location to be exported.)
- From the next drop down Choice List - Field, choose any/all other fields that you want to be exported.
- In the Criteria, select the date range. i.e. >#1/1/2001#, would give you all gages due after 1/1/2001.
- Close the Window and save your changes.
- To execute and save the query as an Excel file, select File, Save As/Export, and then select Excel.
