Known as “point mentality” or “overcontrol,” this kind of response will lead to an unstable system that is subject to constant adjustment by an overzealous manager like Cliff Clymer. Every process has variation; in order to understand the variation and the stability of the system, data relating to the process must be gathered and analyzed.
