• Quality award: ASQ will award the Philip Crosby Medal during the organization’s Annual World Conference on Quality and Improvement in May.

• Better buns: The Georgia Tech Research Institute has developed a system that inspects the quality of sandwich buns as they come out of the oven.

• Healthcare discussions: The Institute for Healthcare Improvement hosts discussion forums on a variety of topics, from quality and improvement to patient safety and improving access in clinical care.
