GAGEpack EZ release enhances maintenance management, reports
Increasing emphasis on keeping accurate maintenance records can be accommodated in the release of GAGEpack EZ, with bar code support and enhanced reporting functions. The program offers easy-to-use capabilities for tracking preventative equipment maintenance and overhauls, as well as a host of other new enhancements. New features found in this version of the popular gage calibration software program include a maintenance calendar that keeps scheduled maintenance activities available at a glance, in addition to calibration and R&R events. The list can be color-coded to show due dates. Enhanced reports include drag-and-drop feature, customized footers, and a special “my reports” list. For R&R percentages, sigma values can be user-selected. Security is improved with a view-only mode and password access for creation, deletion, and editing of files.
GAGEpack EZ is a powerful program that helps users manage complete histories of measurement devices, instruments, and gages. It allows a customer to create, sort, and update an unlimited number of gage records. Included are functions for linearity, bias, stability, uncertainty, and attributes R&R studies with graphs and charts.
Using GAGEpack EZ can help organizations conform to ISO 9000 section 4.11, QS-9000, and other critical calibration standards. Historical calibration records of inspection, measuring, and test equipment are collected and retrieved easily in order to generate accurate and effective reports.
Other features found in GAGEpack EZ include linking to calibration and R&R procedure files and the ability to set custom validation criteria, to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9000. Custom queries allow the user to zero in on specific gages, and columns within the gage list can be sorted simply by clicking a header. The program offers user security and audit trails as well.
