PQ Systems began in 1980 as Productivity-Quality Associates. Initial efforts focused on training for statistical process control (SPC) and problem-solving tools such as fishbone diagrams. The first version of SQCpack,® our popular, easy-to-use SPC software program, was developed in 1981, by Sean T. Cleary, Ph.D., of C.C.N.Y., to do basic control charts and histograms. The current version, SQCpack EZ, is one of the best-selling SPC software programs on the market. In 1984, the company incorporated as PQ Systems, Inc. To better serve our customers in Europe, we opened an office in the UK in 1987. In 1989, Dr. Jackie Graham opened our Australian office.

Today, PQ Systems is an industry leader in SPC and quality control software. In addition to our software, we provide training for SPC, measurement systems analysis, and quality improvement. Our success is based on our conviction that teamwork and problem-solving tools, along with SPC and other data analysis tools, offer the most effective way to achieve higher product quality and reduced costs.
